Day one

9am pickup Adelaide accommodation

Travelling via Riverton to Manoora we reach the Clare Valley via Mintaro.

First stop will be Martindale Hall

Experience the grandeur and ambience of this authentic 19th century Georgian mansion. Built in 1879 for Edmund Bowman Jnr, 21-year-old sheep farmer, it was designed as a home for entertainment and sporting activities. Picnic at Hanging Rock filmed here.

Town tour of the Heritage listed village of Mintaro Winery Lunch at Reilly’s Cellar Door and Restaurant or Paulett

Across to Pikes at Polish Hill River, sample the boutique beer and Premium table Wines

Sevenhill Cellars, Church Crypt and Grounds tour. The Jesuits have making wine and Altar wine in Clare since 1851 A fascinating story to be heard on the day.

Day two


Passport key tour of Burra and the old mines, we’ll see the remains of dugout in banks of the Burra Creek

We’ll travel out to Redbank’s and get a taste of the outback and see Goyder’s Line.

If available a visit to the refurbished Railway Station, discoveries of Mega fauna have been found in the Burra area. Fossil of the giant Diprotodonts and the Tasmainian Tiger are on display.

Travelling back to Clare via the Midnight Oil house from the cover of Diesel & Dust.

Day Three

Bungaree Station Tour Bungaree is celebrating 175 years of continued heritage of the Hawke family who settled in Clare Xmas eve 1841

Skillogalee for a nice long Lunch before returning to Adelaide
