Nomads Historical Tour

A day into the origins of Clare Valley

We Acknowledge the Ngadjuri People, Traditional Custodians of this Land

     Itinerary

A Camel Shoots Explorer John Horrock

The Nomads Historical Tour is for the inquisitive and curious traveller, adventurous people looking for something more.

We look at the early pioneers of Clare Valley. Our white heritage is English, Irish and Polish.

They came from the other side of the world looking for opportunities and a new life.

They colonised the Clare Valley and displaced the traditional owners, The Ngadjuri People

We look at the plight of the Ngadjuri people who were pushed aside in the colonisation,

and follow the unstoppable expansion and creation of a premium Wine Region.

As for Harry the camel shooting Mr Horrocks, you'll have to join me for that story.
